Khamenei Body Arrives in Tehran for Funeral

Ali Khamenei's body arrived at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla ahead of the public funeral. Khamenei.ir's official committee schedule says the body will lie in state there on July 4-5, with a Tehran procession on July 6, Qom on July 7 and burial in Mashhad on July 9. The Grand Mosalla and casket preparations are confirmed. The regime is trying to turn Israel's successful strike on Iran's supreme leader into a mass-mobilization spectacle. Israel should watch the turnout, but read it as managed regime theater, not proof that Tehran has recovered strategic initiative.
