Waltz Names Ellie Cohanim Senior Policy Advisor at USUN

JPost reported at 19:12 IDT on July 3 that U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz appointed Ellie Cohanim as senior policy advisor at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations. The official USUN post says Cohanim was born in Tehran, raised in New York, fights antisemitism and brings lived experience to the UN. JNS, Iran International and Global Woman Leader report the same appointment, her prior deputy special envoy role against antisemitism and her Abraham Accords work. For Israel, placing an Iranian-born Jewish anti-regime voice near the UN fight strengthens American pushback against Tehran, antisemitism and diplomatic double standards.
