Hamas Bribe Claims Hit Gaza Medical Evacuation Lists
Jerusalem Post reported July 5 that families of sick and injured Gazans allege Hamas-controlled health officials are taking bribes to put healthy people or connected figures on medical evacuation lists. AOL's Telegraph pickup says the allegations include forged medical papers and queue-jumping, while WHO said its role is coordination and logistics, not patient prioritization. PeaceComms earlier reported Gazan protesters outside Nasser Hospital made similar claims against the Hamas-led ministry and warned real patients were delayed. The WHO medevac guide says no one should pay to register, prioritize, add companions or speed evacuation. Israel should keep medical corridors open where security allows while exposing Hamas corruption that exploits civilians.
