Netanyahu Ex-Chief of Staff Joins Eisenkot Yashar Team

Yoav Horowitz, a former acting director-general of the Prime Minister's Office and former Netanyahu chief of staff, on July 5 joined Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar campaign orbit. Horowitz will lead Yashar's 100-day team, tasked with building the party's work plan for the next government's first 100 days. Horowitz served as Netanyahu's chief of staff from February 2016 to July 2019 and as PMO director-general in 2018-2019. The move matters because the 2026 campaign is increasingly about governing capacity, not only blocs and slogans.
