Tel Sheva Shooting Leaves 18-Year-Old Seriously Wounded

On July 5, an 18-year-old was seriously wounded by gunfire in the Negev near Tel Sheva. Magen David Adom teams met the wounded young man on Route 60 near Tel Sheva Junction and evacuated him to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. Initial reports did not identify suspects, a motive or a police update, so the confirmed facts are limited to the wound, location and evacuation. Even a brief item matters because armed violence in the Negev erodes public safety; Israel should keep pressing illegal weapons, family feuds and criminal networks with lawful police action.
