ZOA Urges Trump to Block Turkey F-35 Sales

The Zionist Organization of America urged President Donald Trump, his administration and Congress to block Turkey from rejoining the F-35 program and to stop related fighter-engine sales before Trump's NATO-summit talks with Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The group said advanced U.S. aircraft or F110 engines could erode Israel's qualitative military edge, strengthen Ankara's KAAN program and reward a government still barred from the F-35 track over its Russian S-400 system. Netanyahu separately warned Monday that giving Turkey F-35s or engines would upset the Middle East balance protected by Israeli air superiority and U.S. posture. The pressure campaign keeps Israel's security edge at the center of Washington's Turkey diplomacy.
