Nvidia Opens Expanded Beer Sheva AI R&D Center
Nvidia officially inaugurated its expanded Beer Sheva R&D center today, completing the move into a 3,000-square-meter site in Gav Yam High-Tech Park, triple the previous footprint. The center already employs more than 150 workers and the company plans to hire hundreds more in coming years for chip, hardware, software, architecture, security and AI-infrastructure teams. Reports say the site is Nvidia's southernmost and largest periphery R&D center in Israel, joining its Yokneam, Tel Aviv, Ra'anana and Tel Hai locations. The opening reinforces Beer Sheva and the Negev as a serious Israeli technology anchor built around local talent, academia and advanced industry.
