Tangos AI Raises $20M for Financial-Crime Investigations

Tangos AI announced a $20 million seed round on July 7 to expand its autonomous AI platform for financial-crime investigations. The company, founded by Israeli entrepreneur Eyal Azoulay, says its agents build evidence-backed, regulator-ready case files for banks, government agencies and intelligence organizations investigating money laundering, sanctions evasion and fraud. Red Dot Capital Partners led the round, with Leaders Fund, Clarim, Venture Israel, SignalFire, Clutch Capital, Selah Ventures and a strategic investment from Bright Data participating. The funding shows Israeli AI talent moving into high-trust financial and intelligence workflows, not only consumer automation.
