ITIM Complaint Follows Chief Rabbi Mikveh Remarks

ITIM filed a complaint with the Judicial Complaints Commissioner against Sephardi Chief Rabbi David Yosef after remarks to mikveh attendants about women who ask to immerse without an attendant present. Current reporting says Yosef's office denied any intent to harm women, said the remarks were quoted without full context, and stressed that women coming to fulfill a mitzvah must be treated with honor and dignity.
