Yoseph Haddad Advances Knesset Bid With First Activist Meeting

Yoseph Haddad, a Christian Arab-Israeli pro-Israel advocate and Golani Brigade combat veteran wounded in the Second Lebanon War, convened his first activist conference Monday and is expected to declare his path to the Knesset in the coming days. Attendees were told the roughly 3,000-strong Together Vouch for Each Other network of young activists across Israeli society will be turned into campaign infrastructure, with plans for persuasion stands at train stations nationwide and Ben Gurion Airport to reach voters, including diaspora Israelis returning for the vote. Haddad is weighing an independent Zionist list, joining an existing platform, or accepting a realistic slot on the Likud slate, which is courting him to broaden its appeal among younger voters. A Midgam Institute poll by Mano Geva earlier projected a Haddad-led list crossing the electoral threshold with four to five Knesset seats, pulling support from Likud, Otzma Yehudit, and Naftali Bennett voters.
