Satellite Imagery Shows Iran Repairing Nuclear Site

New satellite imagery showed Iran repairing and reinforcing the Taleghan 2 facility inside the Parchin military complex, with June 22 and July 7 images showing work around bomb penetration holes, concrete reinforcement and rebar for a permanent cap. Reports also noted vehicle activity at Pickaxe Mountain, a suspected underground nuclear site near Isfahan, while a U.S.-Iran memorandum was still in force. The activity raises questions about whether Tehran violated the memorandum before Washington declared the ceasefire over. The site has been identified as linked to nuclear-weapons research, the kind of capability Israel and its allies have targeted to prevent a nuclear-armed Iranian regime.
