Poll Puts Yashar First on 24 Seats, Likud Second on 23

A new Kantar survey published Sunday evening puts Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar first with 24 Knesset seats, one ahead of Likud on 23, with 107 days until the October 27 election. Beyachad receives 15 seats, Yisrael Beytenu 10 and the Democrats nine; Otzma Yehudit, Shas and United Torah Judaism receive eight each, while Religious Zionism receives five. The current coalition parties total 52 seats, while parties opposed to Netanyahu total 58 without the Arab parties and 68 including them. Kantar surveyed 551 Israeli adults online on July 12 after contacting 2,359 people; the reported sampling error is plus or minus 4.2 percentage points.
