Girl Dies After Jerusalem Traffic Collision

A girl died after she was struck by a vehicle on Rabbi Shmuel Salant Street in Jerusalem on Wednesday. The emergency call reached Magen David Adom at 2:19 p.m., and crews found her unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, before evacuating her under continued resuscitation. Doctors continued resuscitation but pronounced her dead at the hospital. MDA's initial dispatch described her as nine, while the death reports described her as five; the reports also conflict on whether she was taken to Hadassah Mount Scopus or Shaare Zedek.
