Nine-Year-Old Girl Critically Injured in Jerusalem Traffic Collision

A nine-year-old pedestrian was critically injured Wednesday after a vehicle struck her on Rabbi Shmuel Salant Street in Jerusalem. Magen David Adom received the call at 2:19 p.m.; its medics and United Hatzalah volunteers found the girl unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, and with severe injuries. The teams began advanced resuscitation at the scene, including chest compressions, ventilation and medication, and continued while urgently evacuating her to hospital in critical condition. The circumstances of the collision are under investigation.
