Tax Authority Opens May-June Compensation Claims for Northern Businesses

Israel's Tax Authority opened the online system Wednesday for northern businesses to file indirect-damage compensation claims for May and June under Operation Roaring Lion. Turnover-track claims cover lost profit, while the agriculture track pays NIS 13,615 for each eligible worker in qualifying agricultural areas. The routes apply to businesses in confrontation-line communities, the Upper Galilee and northern Golan, including Katzrin and Kidmat Tzvi; applicants must file the relevant VAT and withholding reports. Claims can be submitted online through November 15, while separate March-April claims also opened for cash-basis businesses and contractors.
