Iranian state media said a location near Bandar Abbas was hit at 3:50 a.m. Iran time Saturday in what it described as a U.S. military attack. The report, posted minutes later, did not identify the target, weapon, casualties or damage. U.S. Central Command had separately confirmed a seventh consecutive night of strikes intended to degrade Iranian military capabilities. Earlier verified accounts had already placed explosions in Bandar Abbas, Fars and Yazd, making the 3:50 a.m. report a new strike in the continuing overnight wave.
