Iran Reports Two or Three Explosions in Khorramabad

Iranian state media reported that two or three explosions were heard in Khorramabad at about 5 a.m. local time Saturday. A later update attributed the sounds to firing by what the bulletin called "fighters of Islam," without identifying a unit or weapon, and it reported no targets, damage or casualties. U.S. Central Command had separately announced a seventh consecutive night of strikes intended to keep degrading Tehran's military capabilities. The notice did not say the firing was part of that operation or claim that a U.S. strike had occurred.
