Facebook and Instagram suffered a widespread outage Sunday that disrupted access for users in Israel and multiple countries. Users reported login failures, blank or stale feeds, failed story uploads and difficulty loading content, with desktop access especially affected while some mobile functions remained available. Downdetector data cited in contemporaneous reports showed 4,808 Facebook complaints in the United States by 9:45 a.m. CEST and 2,829 Instagram complaints by 10:18 a.m. CEST.
