Pedestrian Killed in Route 25 Collision Near HaNasi Junction

Magen David Adom said a pedestrian about 40 was struck by a vehicle on Route 25 near HaNasi Junction after a 00:17 emergency call. Paramedics found him without signs of life and suffering from multisystem trauma, and pronounced him dead at the scene. Additional crews treated one woman who was lightly injured and evacuated her to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. The initial official notice did not identify either casualty, describe the vehicle or circumstances, name a driver, or say whether police had opened an investigation.
