Vice President JD Vance’s communications director Taylor Van Kirk rejected a report alleging that Vance’s team was blocking a meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump. Van Kirk called the report “100% fake news” and said her office would have told the publisher so had it sought comment. The disputed report, attributed to unnamed senior Israeli officials, claimed Vance’s staff wanted to keep Netanyahu from urging Trump toward a harder line on Iran. Van Kirk’s statement addressed only that allegation and did not announce whether a future meeting was being scheduled.
