Woman, 70, Moderately Hurt in Suspected Pit Bull Attack in Petah Tikva

Magen David Adom said a woman about 70 years old was moderately injured after a dog, believed to be a pit bull, bit her in Petah Tikva. The emergency call reached MDA's Yarkon dispatch center at 1:53 p.m. on Tuesday. Paramedics treated the woman for an upper-body injury and evacuated her to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer. The organization described her condition as moderate and did not report any other patients in its initial announcement. MDA did not immediately provide the attack's exact location or identify the dog's owner.
