Highway 4 Guardrail Crash Seriously Injures Man, 54

A 54-year-old man was seriously injured after his car struck a guardrail on southbound Highway 4 at the Rishon South Interchange. The emergency call reached the Ayalon Region dispatch center at 18:06, and paramedics treated him at the scene before taking him to Kaplan Medical Center. He was transported with serious neck and abdominal injuries. The initial emergency report did not identify the driver, list other occupants or provide further information about what caused the vehicle to hit the barrier.
