ISA Joins Search for Missing 4-Year-Old Yuval Kogan in Ashkelon

The Israel Police brought the ISA into the search for 4-year-old Yuval Kogan, who was last seen Thursday near Hofit Beach in Ashkelon. Investigators are examining all possibilities, while police prepared to continue the operation through the night. The search includes a police helicopter, maritime units, volunteer divers, firefighters, rescue organizations and hundreds of officers and civilian volunteers working across the shoreline and nearby areas. Police described Yuval as slim, with brown hair, wearing a green shirt, and asked anyone with information to call emergency line 100 or the Ashkelon station.

Difference in reporting

Sources factually disagree on the ISA's status: Israel National News and NEWSru report that ISA investigators joined the search; Israel Hayom reports that police requested the agency's assistance. The remaining facts are uniform: Yuval Kogan is missing from Ashkelon's Hofit Beach area, and a large land, sea and air search is continuing into the night.
