Four-year-old Yuval Kogan was found alive and well Friday afternoon after disappearing during a family outing near Hofit Beach in Ashkelon the previous day. He was located near Nitzanim, about four kilometers from where he was last seen, after nearly 24 hours of searches by police, rescue teams, volunteers, divers and the Shin Bet. Noam Simhi, one of two horseback riders who found him, said the boy was standing beneath a tree. Police Commissioner Daniel Levy confirmed the recovery and thanked the forces, volunteers and public who assisted.
