Stabbing Attack at Ganim Reception Post Wounds Israeli; Assailant Neutralized

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of smoke rising across a fire-scorched Samaria hillside, with a winding road and scattered buildings

An assailant stabbed an Israeli in the leg at a recently established reception post in the Ganim area of northern Samaria, hours after an earlier attack near Alon Moreh. The IDF said the attacker was neutralized and that it was examining the incident. Initial reporting said the assailant arrived by vehicle during logistical activity at the post, which was established ahead of the planned reestablishment of Ganim. Two soldiers shot the attacker after the stabbing, and the victim was evacuated for treatment; initial accounts differed on whether the wound was light or moderate.
