The Mozambique-flagged LPG tanker DISHA was attacked in Iranian territorial waters on Friday, the Indian Embassy in Tehran said. The vessel, identified by IMO number 8818219, had 28 Indian crew members aboard, and the embassy confirmed that all were safe. Officials did not disclose what struck the tanker, the extent of damage or the precise circumstances of the attack. The embassy said it was monitoring the situation and remained in contact with Iranian authorities as commercial shipping faced heightened security risks during the renewed U.S.-Iran fighting.
