Israel Forecast Warns Mediterranean Is Dangerous for Swimming Saturday

Israel’s Saturday forecast says morning clouds will clear, temperatures will rise and conditions will become warmer than usual. The Israel Meteorological Service lists a red warning for high, dangerous Mediterranean surf through noon, followed by a preliminary warning continuing into Saturday night. A separate coastal forecast says wave heights at Jerusalem Beach will exceed one meter and increase later in the day. Skies are expected to turn partly cloudy overnight, with light showers possible along the coastal plain toward Sunday morning.
