Magen David Adom said its Negev dispatch center received a report at 9:52 p.m. that a teenage cyclist had been struck by a vehicle in Rahat. EMTs and paramedics treated the 16-year-old at the scene before evacuating him to Soroka Medical Center. The emergency service described his condition as serious, with injuries to his head and abdomen. The official dispatch did not identify the teenager, say whether he was riding an electric or conventional bicycle, or provide details about the driver or the circumstances leading to the collision.
