A two-and-a-half-year-old girl was moderately hurt after a snake bit her in the courtyard of her home in Beit Shemesh on Saturday. Magen David Adom said its Jerusalem dispatch center received the report at 4:28 p.m., after relatives brought the child to a local Terem clinic. Paramedics treated her and evacuated her to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem. The published reports did not identify the snake species or release further details about her treatment.
