Man, 22, Moderately Wounded in Violence Near Dvira Interchange

A 22-year-old man was moderately wounded in a violent incident near the Dvira Interchange in the northern Negev on Sunday morning. Magen David Adom crews treated him at the scene for a penetrating wound and evacuated him to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. The incident was first reported shortly after 7:15 a.m. Israel time. Initial reports did not identify the weapon, name a suspect, state a motive, or provide further information about the circumstances, and no official investigative update had been released at publication time.
