The Civil Administration's Higher Planning Council approved 763 housing units, with 673 planned for two expansions of Eli in the Binyamin region and 90 for Har Adar, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced. The decision advances 267 additional homes in Eli's Aliraz neighborhood, bringing that plan to 917 units after an earlier approval of 650. It also advances 406 homes in a new Moradot Hayovel section, bringing that neighborhood's planned total to 820 after 414 were approved previously. Smotrich and Binyamin Regional Council head Israel Ganz said the Eli neighborhoods commemorate Israelis who fell in war.
