IDF Bars Palestinian Workers From Judea and Samaria Communities After Attacks

IDF Central Command chief Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth barred Palestinian workers from entering Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria after a recent series of terrorist attacks. The order leaves industrial areas outside the restriction. A security source said individual communities may also request exceptions for construction sites. The directive was disclosed Saturday night; the initial reports did not specify its duration, the number of workers affected, whether permits would be canceled or only suspended, or the process and timing for communities seeking construction-site exemptions.
