Iran Says U.S. Message Exchanges Continue Through Mediators

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said Tehran and Washington remain in indirect contact through diplomatic channels while regional mediators press their efforts. His statement followed two days without reported U.S. airstrikes on Iran or Iranian attacks on neighboring countries hosting American forces. A senior Iranian official said Tehran had already conveyed that it would halt operations as long as Washington did not resume attacks. U.S. officials said the strike pause was meant to give diplomacy more room, while warning that military action could resume if Iran did not return to serious negotiations.
