Records Detail NIS 2.7 Million in Prime Minister's Residence Costs

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu centered before composite views of the Jerusalem, Caesarea and official prime ministerial residences

Records released after a Freedom of Information Movement court petition show the state spent NIS 1,979,517 on the prime minister's residences and staff in 2025, plus NIS 731,081 in the first half of 2026. The records list NIS 94,957 for Caesarea gardening, about NIS 28,500 for two bathtub replacements at the Gaza Street residence, and 34 Wolt deliveries totaling about NIS 4,984. In the first half of 2026, 741 of 904 expense lines were fully or partly redacted. The Prime Minister's Office said some entries remain under professional and legal review and declined to compile all invoices, citing unreasonable resource demands.
