Israel Sees Centrifuges but No Active Enrichment at Pickaxe Mountain

A senior Israeli official said centrifuges remain at Iran's underground Pickaxe Mountain complex, but Israel currently sees no uranium enrichment underway there. The official said Israel has a strong assessment of the nuclear material, including material enriched below 60%, and that prior strikes set back the nuclear program but did not destroy it permanently. He estimated Iran retains 1,500 to 1,600 ballistic missiles and said Israel would act again against any effort to rebuild its nuclear or missile capabilities. The briefing followed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's talks with President Donald Trump, where options included an agreement, continued pressure, or renewed strikes.
