Maccabi Haifa Delays Scan as Glazer Believes Knee Blow Is Minor

Maccabi Haifa goalkeeper Omri Glazer said he believes the knee injury that forced him out of the 3-0 Toto Cup loss to Ironi Kiryat Shmona was only a heavy blow. Glazer left on a stretcher after colliding with a teammate, but later walked independently and put weight on the injured leg. The club postponed imaging and scheduled another examination by its doctor for Wednesday, while hoping he will need only several days of rest. Initial findings were reassuring, although the follow-up examination will determine whether he suffered a significant injury.
