Pedestrian Killed in Collision at Hadera Junction

A man about 40 was killed after a vehicle struck him at Hadera Junction early Wednesday, Magen David Adom said. The emergency service received the report at 1:19 a.m. in its Sharon region and dispatched medics to the scene. Paramedic Alexander Goldenberg and senior emergency medical technician Elimelech Michalowitz said they found the man lying unconscious on the road with multisystem trauma and no signs of life. They described a very difficult scene and said medical checks confirmed his injuries were too severe; the team pronounced him dead at the scene.
