Car Strikes 6-Year-Old Pedestrian in Jerusalem, Causing Moderate Head Injury

A six-year-old boy was moderately injured Thursday evening after a car struck him on Abba Hillel Silver Street in Jerusalem. Magen David Adom said its Jerusalem-region emergency center received the report at 9:20 p.m. Medics and paramedics treated the child at the scene and evacuated him to Shaare Zedek Medical Center with a head injury. The initial notice classified his condition as moderate and did not provide further information about the circumstances of the collision or his condition after arrival at the hospital.
