Two Injured in Route 6 Crash Near Ben Shemen, Including Teen, 17

Magen David Adom’s Yarkon Region 101 dispatch center received a report at 8:20 p.m. Thursday of a collision between two vehicles on Route 6 near the Ben Shemen Interchange. Paramedics and emergency medical technicians treated a 17-year-old for multisystem injuries and a woman who was lightly injured. The teams evacuated the two casualties to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer and Kaplan Medical Center. The initial emergency-service announcement did not identify either casualty, describe the vehicles, or provide details about the cause of the crash or any police investigation.
