Man, 52, Seriously Wounded in Ma’alot-Tarshiha Shooting

A 52-year-old man was seriously wounded in a shooting in Ma’alot-Tarshiha late Wednesday night. Magen David Adom said its Asher District 101 call center received the report at 11:28 p.m., describing the incident as violence in the northern city. Paramedics and emergency medical technicians treated the man for a penetrating injury before evacuating him to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. The emergency service said he was in serious condition during the evacuation. Initial reports did not identify a suspect or motive, and did not announce any arrest.
