Driver, About 20, Killed in Route 90 Bus Collision Near Allenby Terminal

Magen David Adom said a collision between an empty bus and a private car on Route 90 near the Allenby terminal was reported at 6:31 a.m. Friday. Paramedics pronounced the car's driver, a man about 20, dead at the scene after finding him trapped, unconscious and suffering severe multisystem injuries. The 66-year-old bus driver was treated for light injuries and taken by ambulance to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital. Police opened an investigation and temporarily closed Route 90 in both directions between Beit Hogla and Qasr al-Yahud.
