Magen David Adom said two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle on HaNasi Ben-Zvi Boulevard in Nahariya after a call at 11:10 a.m. Friday. Paramedics evacuated a woman about 70 to Galilee Medical Center in critical condition while performing resuscitation, and a woman about 20 in moderate condition with limb injuries. A subsequent report said a taxi was involved and its driver was lightly injured and taken for hospital treatment. Police traffic investigators opened an inquiry into the crash. Neither source identified the women or said what caused the collision.
