Four More Givati Soldiers Jailed and Removed From Combat Duty

Disciplinary proceedings concluded Tuesday against the final four Givati Brigade soldiers involved in last week's walkout from the Sde Teiman base. Three received 30-day prison terms and the fourth received 20 days; all four were removed from combat duty and will be reassigned. One soldier was tried while on pre-discharge leave. The new rulings follow the brigade commander's earlier decision to jail and remove 14 leaders of the protest, while roughly 80 other soldiers who returned to the base underwent a command and education process focused on discipline and expected IDF standards.
