SolarEdge Revenue Rises 20% to $346.2 Million as Operating Loss Narrows

SolarEdge reported second-quarter revenue of $346.2 million, up 19.6% from a year earlier and 11.5% from the previous quarter. GAAP gross margin widened to 27.5% from 11.1% a year earlier, while the GAAP operating loss narrowed to $16 million from $115.5 million. The company returned to non-GAAP operating profit of $10.2 million for the first time since the second quarter of 2023 and generated $3.1 million in free cash flow. SolarEdge forecast third-quarter revenue of $310 million to $340 million and said strong European and U.S. commercial demand offset weaker U.S. residential conditions.
