Britain's Community Security Trust recorded 1,926 antisemitic incidents from January through June 2026, up 21% from 1,598 in the same period last year and the second-highest first-half total on record. The charity counted 135 assaults, an 82% increase and its highest six-month assault total. Reports rose 71% in the week after Israel and the United States began strikes on Iran, while suspected Iran-directed attacks included arson or attempted arson at synagogues and Jewish organizations. CST said 41% of incidents containing anti-Jewish language or targeting also referenced Israel, Hamas's October 7 attack, or the ensuing war.
