Police Arrest Three After Lakia Gunfire Alarms Nearby Carmit Residents

Police said officers arrested three men suspected of involvement in gunfire and a fight in Lakia after the shots alarmed residents of nearby Carmit. Officers from the Ayarot station, Sahar Brigade and Border Police South searched for those involved. Forces saw one suspect fire and flee on foot toward a wadi beside residents' homes, then used lighting equipment during a foot pursuit and found him hiding in bushes. Two additional suspects, both in their 30s, were arrested during the operation, and all three were taken to the Ayarot station for questioning.
