Saudi Aramco Extinguishes Fire at Jazan Refinery Facility, No Injuries Reported

Saudi Aramco industrial security firefighting teams extinguished a pre-dawn fire Sunday at a facility belonging to the company's Jazan refinery in southwestern Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Energy Ministry said. The ministry reported no injuries and said authorities were completing the procedures required to handle the incident. It did not identify the cause or specify which part of the refinery was affected. The refinery, located on the Red Sea coast near Yemen, can process about 400,000 barrels per day and was shut after a Houthi-attributed attack damaged the complex late last month.
