IDF Demolishes Home of Gunman in Deadly Tell Attack

IDF and Border Police forces demolished the Tell home of Farouq Ramadan, the gunman involved in the July 24 attack in which Maj. Yuval Ezra and reservist Benayahu Mellet were killed. The IDF said the demolition came less than three weeks after the shooting and pledged continued action against terrorism across Judea and Samaria. Al-Monitor reported that troops entered the village Monday evening, evacuated residents from nearby homes and detonated Ramadan's second-floor apartment Tuesday morning. An IDF probe has not conclusively determined whether Mellet was killed by Palestinian or friendly fire.
