Israel Corp Quarterly Profit Rises 23% to $53 Million

Israel Corporation Ltd. reported second-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders of $53 million, up from $43 million a year earlier, a 23% increase. Its share of ICL's profit rose to $59 million from $40 million, while Prodalim's contribution slipped to $1 million from $2 million. At June 30, the company held $704 million in liquid assets against $644 million in financial liabilities and reported $123 million in net cash. Net assets totaled $3.238 billion, including ICL holdings valued at $2.845 billion, Prodalim at $168 million and AKVA Group at $86 million.
