EcoTech Teens Build Community Websites and Smart Irrigation System

Dozens of teenagers from Acre, Lod, Yokneam, East Jerusalem and Gaza-border communities completed an intensive EcoTech internship run by Machshava Tova, applying technical skills to local needs. During the week, participants built websites for restaurants, real-estate agencies and family boutique brands, handling projects from requirements gathering through delivery. Lod participants also developed a sensor-based smart-irrigation system for community gardens. At the program's final event, the teenagers presented dozens of technology projects designed to assist people with special needs and, in some cases, support life-saving work; the initiative was supported by the Cassirer Foundation and public- and private-sector partners.
